Ooh, nothing sells a setting like a mysterious woman on the front cover!

Please let me know if you have any issue with using the PDF. I had to change things at a technical level to reduce the file size (from 6.5 mb to just under 1 mb). I can't see any problems but other might. The file should work with Adobe Reader 8+.

Thanks for posting! How did you reduce the size?

I'll have to get Adobe 8 to save it to my comp apparently, though I was able to have a brief look, and have to say it looks pretty good.

Hopefully I'll be able to give a more indepth response at a latter date.

Cheers!

Your version of Adobe Reader shouldn't have anything to do with your ability to save the file on your hard drive. Just use right click and "Save Link/Target As..." or alternatively, if the file opens automatically in your browser, there should be a purple floppy disk in the upper left corner of your window -- you can use that floppy button to save the file on your drive.

I'm just amazed by the power of the symbol btw... When was the last time you saved something on the floppy? Yet the symbol still prevails.

Is that floppy? I thought it was a piece of toast, as in burning the file to the drive. ;)

Certic,

I just skimmed over your setting and read your Final Notes, and from what I've seen, I'd like to tip my hat to you. Not only is the presentation attractive, but also the material itself looks interesting and different. I, too, have a taste for settings that are not YACAPE, as you call them, and I am an avid fan for of Sword & Sorcery literature, so what I've seen of The Lands of the Drakkarn Sea speaks to me.

Nice one. :D

Hey there Certic,

Mate, this setting is just brilliant -- a fully realised world like this is an amazing tool for lazy arse game masters (like me :D)

Thanks for all your hard work, and thanks for making it available.

Matt
