Good Grief. I have the terrible PDF version but I would like a copy of the Core Rulebook. Anyone have one for sale or know of where I can get one?

No Ebay has none.

What's terrible about the PDF version -- assuming you got it here?

Regards,

I'd say he has the saem version I do, a poorly scanned one that is circulating the internet, you literally have to scroll forward a few pages to read the edges of previous pages that were cut off in the scan.

Anyway, Traxx, Ian sells from what I've hear, top-notch PDF versions of the Core.

You do still sell them right? I'm a month or two away from getting my Creidit card :D then I'll buy a Core and become a TRoS supporter.

Cheers!

Bought the other books but from the description thought the core book was the same as the terrible scan I have now. I now know otherwise and will now buy the core book. Thanks.

Still would like a hard copy if anyone out there has one they're willing to part with.

Ian's version of the core rules is far better than the crappy scan, and the money goes to the company that produced it in the hope that they might some day start selling the books themselves again...

Hearing stories like this makes me glad I got mine when I did. Now, if only I could find the rest of my hardcopy books. Only supplement that I have on hand is the companion :( despite owning all of them.

Sigh...I figured it would someday go this way. With more and more gamers realizing how scarce the hard copies really are, the prices are going through the roof. I was lucky and found several complete sets of all the books a long time ago. I have kept one set and gave the others to my son and daughter, both of whom are avid gamers. I am trying to build one more set for a friend and have gotten two of the four books. I think the high prices are here to stay...

Checkout:

There is a 'swap meet' section of the forum. The Riddle of Steel is listed as a 'have' by one poster.
