Very good indeed. I'm reading about TRoS quite a while now and after I finally decided to give it a try it seems to be dead. Really bad luck, but on the other hand I still could order all books. Well, after a few days searching for rpg shops, that is. Hopefully, the books will arrive tomorrow. I would really like to read through the rules and maybe plan a first one shot to get a feeling for the game.

After quite a few emails, I finally decided to register on the TRoS forums...didn't now the registration is admin controlled. Well, I'm really glad, somebody decided to take things into his/her own hands and start a nice fan site. Out of frustration I already thought about offering such a forum myself (given I would have been able to contact anyone via email or something), but this way I can focus on asking questions. :D

Hi!

You guys are just unbelievable! You joined the forum about twenty minutes after it was installed!

I'm going to keep working on the administration and configuration -- there will be more to see shortly.

Regards,

Ian P.

Your work is much appreciated.

Visited the TRoS forums and read about the domain. What a coincidence that you installed the forum only minutes before my visit. More people to come, I guess.

regards
Carsten

Nice work on the site Ian, its great to see all our friendly lurkers able to come out of the woodworks and join us now.

Welcome to the TRoS Community Officially guys ;)

I'll be sure to be Posting my questions and answers over here from now.

However I think we should still post on the TRoSFroums untilwe are sure that everyone is aware of this place.

Cheers!

Sad part is that I had an acount over at the TROS forum but it went stale and was disabled. When I tried to get it turned back on again there was no response from the admin. So I tried to create a new account. Unfortunately the signup process required manually enabling new accounts which never happened.

So post away at TROSForum and tell all the good folks where we are!

And now you know why the forums appear to be dead, and why it's the same ten people who post anything up! Because they are the only ones who can. And now we can point to something real to disprove people when they say that this game is dead.

It really isn't; it's just not growing as fast as it should be.

Hi,

Unfortunately trosforums has gone the way of Driftwood itself, slowly sinking and the only people giving it any sense of life are the stalwart fans. So we've cut out the middleman, got our own fansite, and now we can show with deeds rather than words whether TRoS is alive and well.

It is going to take some time to get the forum into the state we want it -- let alone the whole website. So all I can ask is start working on some sort of submission for the site. In particular, PCs/NPCs with back stories as well as scenarios -- every referee and player of TRoS is capable of contributing to this fansite in a concrete and positive manner, even if its just the details on their favourite character.

Regards,

Hello all!

Just wanted to sound off that I'm here, too, and wanted to thank Ian for taking the trouble to set up this site.

So - tank you, Ian.

Hey,

It's good to see some new activity with TROS even if it is "only" fan based.
