I have the first printing of Tros. In my book, under the skill acrobatics, it says that if you are unarmoured and unencumbered you can make an acrobatics roll prior to a full evasion (reflex/acrobatics) to whirl out the way. Every success grants an additional CP die for the full evasion roll. The same thing can be done for a partial evasion at -1 die for the skill check, and for ducking and weaving at -2 dice for the skill check.

Did that change in the second printing?

TRoS, Page 31, Acrobatics wrote:
An unarmored, unencumbered character may roll Reflex/acrobatics prior to any full evasion (see dodging, Book Four) to whirl out of the way. Every success grants an additional CP die for the following evasion roll only. Failure or fumble on the acrobatics roll is equivalent to a failed dodge—all of the attacker's successes count! The same roll may be made for partial evasions (at —1 die for the skill check) or ducking and weaving (at —2 dice).

Failing or fumbling means the dodge automatically fails -- a death sentence, in all likelihood.

Thanks. A very dangerous manoeuver indeed! Still good to know that it still existed in the 2nd printing.
